What does GAF certification mean?
GAF operates a residential roofing contractor certification program. Certification identifies a contractor’s current program level and the enhanced warranties that contractor is authorized to offer. Palma’s level is GAF Certified Plus—not simply GAF Certified and not GAF Master Elite.
For a homeowner, the practical distinction is access to specific enhanced GAF limited warranties on qualifying roofing systems. It does not mean GAF employs our crews, supervises our work, or guarantees every service we provide.
Enhanced warranty options
Our certificate and reference letter authorize Palma to offer these two options on qualifying GAF roofing systems:
GAF System Plus Limited Warranty
An enhanced limited warranty option for eligible GAF roofing systems. Ask us to identify the qualifying products and explain the applicable coverage, exclusions, and registration requirements in your proposal.
GAF Silver Pledge™ Limited Warranty
An additional enhanced limited warranty option available through GAF Certified Plus contractors. The scope and terms are defined by GAF’s warranty documents, not by the certification badge alone.
Enhanced coverage is not automatic. Eligibility requirements, coverage limits, and restrictions apply. Review GAF’s current warranty documents and qualifying roofing system products before making your selection. GAF’s Golden Pledge® Limited Warranty is not an option authorized by our Certified Plus documentation.
